Welcome to the South Tahoe DGA

South Tahoe Disc Golf Association is a non-profit disc golf club created with the purpose of maintaining local disc golf courses and promoting the sport of disc golf in our community. Our members consist of local disc golfers that love their sport and realize how blessed they are to have two world class courses in the South Lake Tahoe area.

Happy New Year!

2016 was a great year for South Tahoe Disc Golf Association (STDGA). We had some great tournaments at Bijou Disc Golf Course (BDGC), with the 22nd Annual Tahoe Pro/Am & the King of the Lake (KOTL) Pro and Amateur events. Our Monthly Soup Series continued to break attendance records from previous years, and our weekly Doubles and Bag Tag Rounds are really taking off with the help of our volunteers. We were able to continue to make improvements at BDGC. With the help of the City of South Lake Tahoe we were able to Purchase new baskets and sleeves for all 27 holes. We also entered into an agreement with the City of South Lake Tahoe to continue to maintain and improve BDGC.

2017 is going to be an even better year for STDGA & BDGC. We will be continuing with improvements at BDGC. Come Spring time and after we get approval, we will be preparing and installing the new sleeves for all the pin placements at BDGC. We will also be looking to replace the scorecard holder and the bulletin boards that blew down. The 23rd Annual Tahoe Pro/Am will be July 22nd & 23rd, 2017 and the KOTL returns August 19 & 20th, 2017. We will need volunteers and sponsors for these events. STDGA is working with the Sierra Tahoe Series (STS) to ensure that these tournaments and every event on the STS will continue to be well managed, quality events that are the most sought after tournaments in our region. For a complete list of tournaments on the STS, here is the link to the Facebook page.

New Website & Soup Scores Out
Excuse the dust...

Sorry for the delay, I needed to finish the first version of this website so I can post the soup scores. So here it is, just click the link on the right, or in the bottom on mobile devices, for the soup you want to see scores for. I will be posting a contact form ASAP to handle any scoring, name spelling or division issues. If you feel like you are in the wrong division we can fix that. I have a bit of work left to do on this website but this should suffice for the time being. For now thanks for your patience and as Scott would say, "Bang them chains!"
