Welcome to the South Tahoe DGA
South Tahoe Disc Golf Association (South Tahoe DGA) was created with the purpose of maintaining and improving local disc golf courses and promoting the sport of disc golf throughout our community and the Sierra Tahoe Region. South Tahoe DGA operates as a not for profit disc golf club. All proceeds generated by STDGA are used to maintain and improve our local courses; Bijou Disc Golf Course and Zephyr Cove Disc Golf Course, and for promoting disc golf events at our local disc golf courses and in the Sierra Tahoe Region.

The 2019 disc golf season is upon us and South Tahoe Disc Golf Association (South Tahoe DGA) members have a very busy season in front of them. Our volunteers will be busy with the usual course maintenance and improvements at Bijou Disc Golf Course and Zephyr Cove Disc Golf Course. We will also be busy conducting our weekly doubles and bag tag rounds. The “Soup" Series returns for a 25th consecutive season. And new this year, South Tahoe DGA is bringing back the "Zoup" Series to Zephyr Cove Disc Golf Course. Both the "Soup" and the "Zoup" Series are sponsored by Innova Disc Golf. South Tahoe DGA will be hosting the 25th Annual Tahoe Pro/Am driven by Innova and the 2019 “King of the Lake” presented by DGA and the 2019 "Lady of the Lake" driven by Innova.
South Tahoe DGA members are in the processes of designing a new sign for Bijou Disc Golf Course. The old sign blew down during a storm in 2016. We hope to have a new sign installed this summer. The new sign will include a course map, disc golf rules & etiquette sign, park rules sign, bulletin board, scorecard holder and a list of course sponsors. South Tahoe DGA will be conducting annual course maintenance at Bijou Disc Golf Course and continue with the replacement of the sleeves for all the pin placements. Volunteers will also be needed for our upcoming “Spring Course Clean-up Day".
With the help of our volunteers, we continue to have great turn-outs at our weekly and monthly fund raising events. Doubles at Zephyr on Mondays and Doubles at Bijou on Sundays and Wednesdays are doing great. The “Soup Series” continues to break attendance records. South Tahoe DGA is the host club for the 2019 “King of the Lake” presented by DGA. The “King of the Lake” is one of the events on The “Steady Ed” Tour Series. We are also hosting the 25th Annual Tahoe Pro/Am driven by Innova at Bijou Disc Golf Course. Both of these events are part of the Sierra Tahoe Series (STS). South Tahoe DGA is working with the STS to ensure that these tournaments and every tournament on the STS schedule will continue to be well managed tournaments that everyone has fun at.
